Pete Harratt is a talented local player who is very popular on the Midlands jazz scene although he has played at many national festivals and venues. Duncan Heining, a national jazz critic who writes for 'JazzWise' and 'Jazz UK' said of him 'He is good enough to make it on the London scene. A very good player indeed.' Pete counts among his influences Stan Getz, Art Pepper Sonny Rollins and many of the player from the 1950s and 1960s era although he plays music from a wide range including traditional jazz (he plays with a traditional jazz marching band in Preston) to some modern composers and players such as Alan Barnes and Wynton Marsalis

Pete Houghton is a very accomplished pianist moving between classical and jazz playing and is well known on the Leicester music scene.

Paula Robinson is an excellent local bassist who has backed many national players in her career including Alan Barnes and numerous singers.

Dave Marriott has a good reputation as a drummer who can cover most styles. He has played with big bands and small group work with a variety of local and national artists.
